Well done to everyone who has shot the summer league. Kingswood got 3rd and a 5th.
Winter league starts with our shoot on the 10th December. Please put it in your diary.
The shoot was excellent, the day was bright and even even warn in the sun. Drayton Parslow put on a great shoot with many hitable targets, hence the high scores. There was very little queuing on the 12 stands, 100 bird shoot. I heard Chris Cherry say it was the fastest he has shot a hundred bird shoot.
There was chilli, sandwiches and desert at Drayton Parslow village hall after the event.

As Adrian has said, we sold over half of the hats and I will take the rest to the next League in case anyone who is shooting wants one. It was very nice to welcome Jerry and hopefully we will see him on a regular basis. Best wishes. Shirley

What a great turnout for the Trophy shoot on Sunday.
I know that Adrian has given his thanks to everyone for the day, but I would just like to add mine. Huge thanks go to Brian and Dawn and William with all their willing helpers in setting up – what turned out to be a fun shoot with some tricky but hittable traps (but not by me)!!
The bbq appeared to be a great success and all thanks to everyone who helped in the organisation and work – you know who you are.
Please see below the results from the trophy shoot.
Congratulations Sandra.

We had a brilliant shoot against the Welsh on Sunday. There was a great layout for the 72 bird shoot, including a pair of bounding rabbits. The scores on the whole were pretty high, with top gun (Mark) breaking 67 clays.

Well done everyone. I gather that the stands were quite testing, but a great fun flurry finished the day. Big thanks go out to Brian and Dawn and their team of helpers for “putting on the show!”
